The question that separates the two
There is a direct test: where does the money paid to participants come from?
- If it comes from the entry of new participants — the sign-up fees of those who arrive pay those who arrived earlier — the structure is a pyramid scheme. It depends on perpetual recruiting and collapses when entry slows down, because there was never another source.
- If it comes from revenue generated by real economic activity — selling a product, providing a service, the result of an operation — the structure is a referral program. It survives even without new participants, because the source is the activity.
The number of tiers decides nothing. Traditional distributors and affiliate programs have used multiple tiers for decades. What decides is the origin.
Applying the test to the iDeepX model
At iDeepX, the Participation Program's compensation comes from the performance fee on realized profit in the operations. When there is profit, the split is: 50% to the client, 25% to the Participation Program and 25% to the technology.
The direct consequence of that architecture: without profit in the operations, there is no performance amount to distribute — to anyone, at any tier. The commission is not sliced from the entry of those who arrived; it is sliced from a result that had to exist first.
It is the structural opposite of a pyramid. There, the arrival of people is the revenue. Here, the arrival of people generates no payment by itself — what generates it is the operation producing a result.
And the licenses? The honest objection
There are two, and they are complementary — not alternatives:
- Client Access License — gives access to the product: copying the chosen signal, Academy courses and the analysis assistant. Every participant needs it to operate. It is free for an indefinite period: in this phase no one is charged.
- Smart Access License — US$ 19 a month (or US$ 136.80 yearly). It is optional, aimed at those who want to build a network, and it unlocks commission from tier 2 to 15.
It is fair to ask whether this is just a sign-up fee under another name. Three facts answer:
- The direct referral commission requires no license at all. Whoever signs up through the link can already refer and already receives the 10% of tier 1 — without the Smart Access License, without the Client Access License and without a broker deposit. And that amount is free: it falls into the balance and can be withdrawn.
- A paid license does not generate commission. It is a written rule of the program. Whoever refers does not receive a percentage of the license paid by the referred person — neither the Client Access License nor the Smart Access License.
- The license is not the source of the distributed money. The source is the performance fee on realized profit.
In a pyramid, the fee paid by those who enter is exactly what compensates those above — and that is why you always have to recruit. Here, whoever enters can earn without paying anything, and what is paid does not become anyone's commission. The two ends invert the logic.
How the tier structure works, without euphemism
The program distributes across up to 15 tiers, with progressive qualification:
| Tier | Requirement |
|---|---|
| 1 (10%) | just being registered |
| 2 to 5 | active Smart Access License |
| 6 to 10 | Smart Access License + 3 direct connections + US$ 3,000 of team capital |
| 11 to 15 | Smart Access License + 5 direct connections + US$ 5,000 of team capital |
Three rules that usually stay in the fine print, and here they stay:
- Settlement is weekly and applies to the net realized profit in the period. Without profit in the period, there is no commission — for anyone, at any tier.
- There is no compression: when a participant is not qualified for their tier, that share returns to iDeepX instead of rising to the next qualified participant.
- Qualification is dynamic: the requirements of tiers 6 to 15 are verified every cycle. Whoever falls below the criterion loses access to the extra tiers immediately.
And the case of whoever refers without the Smart Access License: the commission from tier 2 onward is generated and appears on the screen, with value and deadline, but it stays blocked for 30 days. Activating the Smart Access License within the deadline releases everything at once; without activating it, it expires and becomes iDeepX revenue. We prefer to show the blocked amount rather than show nothing — but the deadline is real and it is worth knowing it beforehand.
The test you can apply to any program
Take these five questions to any opportunity you evaluate:
- Is there a real product or service, with value for someone who refers no one? If the only reason to enter is recruiting, the answer already showed up.
- Is the entry fee distributed to the network? If so, whoever arrives pays whoever arrived before.
- Does anyone earn without the activity producing a result? If so, the money came from somewhere else — and it is worth knowing where.
- Does the material promise a future number as a certainty? Real trading has no predictable result.
- Are the qualification rules written and accessible? A criterion that only shows up at payment time is not a criterion.
Apply it to iDeepX too. A model that sustains itself does not fear the test — and if at some point the answer does not close, that is the most valuable information you can have before deciding.
Frequently asked questions
What is the essential difference between a pyramid and a referral program?
The origin of the distributed money. In a pyramid, it comes from the entry of new participants. In a referral program, it comes from revenue generated by real economic activity — in iDeepX's case, the performance fee on realized profit.
Does having 15 tiers make the model a pyramid?
The number of tiers does not define the nature of the structure. Affiliate programs and distributors have used multiple tiers for decades. What defines it is where the money paid comes from.
Is the monthly license distributed as commission to the network?
No. The license compensates access to the platform. Whoever refers does not receive a percentage of the license paid by the referred person — it is precisely that separation that blocks the pyramid dynamic.
But do I need to pay a license to receive commission?
For tier 1, no: the 10% of the direct referral belongs to any registered person, without license and without deposit, and the amount is free to withdraw. For tiers 2 to 5, yes — the Smart Access License is required, at US$ 19 a month, with the Client license active; tiers 6 to 15 also require direct referrals and team volume. The difference from a sign-up fee is in the destination of the money: no license is passed on as commission to whoever referred you.
Do I earn commission just by registering people?
Registering does not generate payment by itself: there is distribution only when the operations of the people you referred produce realized profit in the period. But the full picture — to receive the 10% of tier 1 you do not need a license or your own operating capital, just being registered. From tier 2 onward, the Smart Access License, direct connections and team capital criteria apply.
What happens if the operations produce no profit in the period?
There is no performance amount to distribute, at any tier. The network's compensation is a share of a result that has to exist first.
What is the no-compression rule?
When a network tier does not meet the qualification criteria, the corresponding share returns to the company instead of being passed to the next participant.
What happens to the commission of tiers 2+ if I do not have the Smart Access License?
It is generated and appears on your screen with value and deadline, but it stays blocked for 30 days. Activating the license within the deadline releases the whole amount at once. Without activating, it expires and becomes iDeepX revenue.
Do I need to refer people to use the platform?
No. It is possible to use only the automation, without participating in the referral program. The service has independent value for someone who never refers anyone.
How are the qualification rules made available?
The criteria of each tier range — active direct referrals and connected team volume — are defined and consultable. A criterion that only shows up at payment time is not a legitimate criterion.
