How copy trading works — and why being non-custodial changes everything

Copy trading connects your broker account to automation models. In the non-custodial model, the capital never leaves your hands — the platform only reads results and operates, never moves or holds funds.

What copy trading is, in one sentence

Copy trading is when an automation model executes trades in your own broker account, following a defined strategy. Instead of watching charts all day, the automation operates and you follow the result on a dashboard.

At iDeepX there are four models — TurboX, DualForce, GridMaster and SafeGuard —, each with an operating profile. The point they share: the compensation is a performance fee on realized profit. Without profit, there is no performance charge.

Custodial vs non-custodial: where your money sits

This is the difference that matters most. In a custodial model, you hand the capital to a third party to hold and operate it. In a non-custodial model, the capital stays in your account, opened in your name at the partner broker, PU Prime.

How the result is split

When there is real profit in the trades, the split is transparent: 50% is always the client's. The other half sustains the ecosystem — 25% compensates the Participation Program and 25% the technology. This split applies exclusively to realized profit, never to the deposit.

What copy trading is NOT

Copy trading is not fixed income and it is not a promise of return. Forex trading involves real risk and the result varies with the market. Be suspicious of any platform that promises certain numbers or fixed returns — that is a warning sign, not solidity.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know how to trade forex to use copy trading?

No. The models operate on their own and the dashboard translates everything in real time. Still, understanding the basics helps you follow with a critical eye.

Is my money held by iDeepX?

No. The capital stays in your account at the partner broker, PU Prime, in your name. iDeepX connects with the trading password of your account only to read results and volume — it does not custody or move funds.

How much do I need to start?

On PU Prime, Cent account, from US$ 1,000, with no ceiling. That is the level at which the automation models operate comfortably, and it is deposited entirely by you — the Cent account has no deposit bonus.

How and when do I get paid?

When there is realized profit, 50% is yours. Settlement is weekly and Participation Program payments are made in USDT on the BEP-20 network.

Is a return promised?

No, and you should be suspicious of anyone who promises one. Forex involves real risk and results vary with the market. What is fixed is the split rule: when there is profit, half is yours.

Can I stop whenever I want?

Yes. It is non-custodial and without lock-in: you disconnect the automation whenever you want and your capital stays in your broker account, under your control.

What is the difference between the four automation models?

Each model has its own profile: TurboX is agile (short cycles), DualForce balances two strategies in counterweight, GridMaster is systematic (an order grid with mathematical discipline) and SafeGuard is the most conservative, with stricter risk management. All charge a performance fee only on realized profit.

Does iDeepX have access to my account's main password?

No. The connection uses the trading password of your account, only to read results and volume. iDeepX does not execute trades in your account — the authorization for the signal to operate is granted by you on the broker platform. The main password stays exclusively with you.
